Matt Turnbull – Partner Matt has over 30 years of operating experience formulating strategy and leading consumer and retail companies. Most recently, he was CEO of Good Food Holdings, which is the owner of preeminent, grocery retail brands including Bristol Farms, New Seasons Natural Market and Metropolitan Market. Matt also served as CEO of Worldwise (a pet product company) and Jacques Gourmet (a restaurant and commercial bakery company). He began his career at Saks Fifth Avenue and has served in various operating capacities throughout his career in retail, consumer and manufacturing. He received his BA in Economics from UCLA and his MBA from Harvard University.
Barr Linton – Partner Barr is a long-time business owner and attorney with deep experience in deal structuring, M&A and company formation. As co-owner of Coal Emissions Reduction Technology LLC, he and his partners helped Fortune 100 companies achieve extraordinary returns. Barr has extensive experience as an investment banker and M&A attorney. He structured privatization deals in Eastern Europe in the 1990’s and was an M&A attorney for Sherman & Sterling in London and at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings in Birmingham, Alabama. He received his BA in Economics from Birmingham Southern College and his JD from Yale University.
Bruce Krysiak – Advisor Bruce has a distinguished career as a senior operator and more recently as an investor and advisor. His investor-advisor experiences and successes include helping take a start-up to a valuation in excess of $1 billion. He has been a mentor to many entrepreneurs, CEO’s and an advisor to private equity firms. He has served as chairman and as lead outside director on many boards over the years including Good Food Holdings, Quantum Health, Stripes, and Quick Check. His earlier operating experience included roles as President and COO of Dollar General, Toys R Us and Circle K. Bruce’s passion is to help young entrepreneurs and managers grow into successful business leaders.
